Who are we?
Friends of Vellore UK supports the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore in India. We raise funds to support projects that in particular benefit those who are poor or marginalised and we support the hospital in maintaining its Christian ethos through prayer and networking. Friends of Vellore UK is a registered charity (no. 209168). The registered address is 2A Chalk Lane, Cockfosters, Barnet, EN4 9JQ.

We obtain information about you when you contact us to enquire about our work, make a donation or request to receive our newsletters or weekly prayer updates.

If you make a donation online, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

If you make a restricted donation for an area of work at the Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, that is not one of our project areas (for example an alumni batch fund) or give to the Person to Person scheme, we will give CMC your details so they know where the donation has come from and can acknowledge the gift directly. By submitting your personal data, you are agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing.
If you use our website while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with the website service.
